March Madness: Mountain West Conference Tournament Projection

The Mountain West Conference tournament will kick off at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday. Sounds like good news for UNLV, the tournament’s number two seed.

Keep in mind what happened when San Diego hosted the West Coast Conference tournament. And then join us after the jump, as we once again let the numbers do the talking — since, once again, I sure as hell can’t do much of it.

Ha, San Diego State over BYU. I will quote Steve Fisher:

“We’re going to put in a
whole new offense and hopefully that will trick them a little bit.”

So just so everyone is clear, you are predicting a team whose senile head coach is instituting a new offense to beat a BYU team that is in the top 25. Looks like it worked for Steve, he tricked you.

New Mexico has the most to gain in the tourney. UNLV has the most to loose. And no one wants to play against Giddens right now.
