A lot of people are burned out on the concept of interleague games, but the first set of games boasts Eric Gagne’s Beantown homecoming and… well, that’s about it.
A preview of my projected World Series also takes place, although that’s looking less and less realistic with each passing day.
It has nothing to do with interleague play, but one of my favorite storylines of the season — Shawn Chacon’s eight-start no-decision streak (to go with his team-leading 3.53 ERA) — could continue or end tonight when the Astros head to Arlington.
